The same with the old Tyranid Bone Swords.

Converting these minis gave me a better appreciation for the 40K 2nd edition releases. Switching from the individual variety of the Rogue Trader and WFB 3rd edition minis toward the Torso-and-Arms and All-Look-Same plastics are part of what decreased my interest in Warhammer after I left for college around the same time.

By the late 90s, though, the quality of the minis had really improved and caught my attention again. I started again collecting the old Rogue Trader minis first, because they are the best single-piece minis for displaying on a shelf. The later minis really need to be assembled to be enjoyed, but once they are assembled they can look as interesting, or more interesting, than the Rogue Trader minis.Hungry Ghostshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01400963638180097309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-530039869894502743.post-45942027219640625962010-05-28T14:05:27.352-04:002010-05-28T14:05:27.352-04:00Woah, is that a dude with tusks growing out of his...Woah, is that a dude with tusks growing out of his groin? :OSchnitzelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06155166599103912139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-530039869894502743.post-2689054336825369632010-05-28T07:59:41.221-04:002010-05-28T07:59:41.221-04:00I really like the Berzerker with the plastic tyran...I really like the Berzerker with the plastic tyranid arms, great use of that Chaos Spawn head!Papa JJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443485240104662387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-530039869894502743.post-90305605083479705132010-05-28T02:56:16.269-04:002010-05-28T02:56:16.269-04:00I really enjoy your blog and as such I read all of...I really enjoy your blog and as such I read all of your post. The conversion and paint jobs are out of this world and it's cause of this that I add comments to your blog. Just wondering though if you read the comments or if they are in vain.HOTpandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03480850003869609864noreply@blogger.com
